Lots of the usual great Pharaoh Overlord minimalist hard rock and metal repetition. "Black Horse" stands out for having a two-bar riff repeated over and over and over over ... but alternating between speeding up and slowing down. You've heard songs speed up, you've heard songs slow down, but have you heard them do both at the same time?
Favorite track: Black Horse.

I think this album is wholly overlooked in Circle's discography, probably because it's so weird sounding. But you know what? It's a goddamn masterpiece. The first song sounds like alternate reality epic soundtrack music, with a single scream denoting danger ahead. The second song tells a story - it may not be a pleasant one, but it's absolutely mesmerizing, much like folk tales of old. Throat-shredding screams give way to a haunting bass groove. Pharaoh Overlord from beyond.
