Pharaoh Overlord steer an exceedingly singular course on their album 'Zero'. Augmented by Antti Boman (Demilich) and Hans Joachim Irmler (Faust), the psychedelic supergroup (consisting of members from Circle) have taken their ouvre to a whole new psychiatric plateau on their ninth studio album.
Libido-driven arithmetics do not apply on these aberrant tracks. Zero provides an offbeat rock 'n' roll implosion, with its sonic realm contorting inwards like a sapient voice muffled by the gentle void of cyberspace. What the album has to offer is exposure to genuine ingenuity.

The concept, the twisted vocals, the intricate instrumentation: utter perfection. The whole dark, viny, earthy vibe surrounding this record is immaculate. Probably among the best in both Circle and Richard's discography. patrishiou
Floor-to-ceiling Boris ragers! It’s like they looked back on songs like Statement and Woman On the Screen and said “let’s do a whole album like that!” Most of these tracks don’t even pass 3 minutes! Zerkalo holds up the middle with some anguished doom.
In the end, *NO* is as strong and declarative as it’s title. Brian Parker
Krautrock collides with psych on this rip-roaring EP from El Universo, which pits jagged guitars against lockstep rhythms. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 11, 2021
Psychedelia at its most fundamental, the new EP from pôt-pot is equal parts Velvet Underground, BJM, and hypnotic vibes. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 30, 2024
Oranssi Pazuzu, the gods of psych black prog metal!! Many an act attempts to fuse those elements, and very few do it well. OP are and will continue to be the leaders in this style! Ralph Douglas
